I recently purchased a number of items from you online store. I live in Ohio but was coming to Brooklyn to move my daughter into her new apartment. Only had a week to do this and with the short notice needed a company that not only had good prices but could comment to our time table. Even though I had priced and narrowed down our selections to four on-line stores in the New York area that said they could deliver it was the customer service I received from Dmitry that won the deal.
Dmitry, showed patience, could provide quickly answers to what was or wasn't in stock, provided confidence in making the deliver dates and stay on top of the process from beginning through the end.
I've not experienced this type of dedication and quality customer service in a long time, because of Dmitry your store will be the first place I look in future for furniture when buying on-line.
Would rate Dmitry a 10 on a 1-5 scale!

This was an absolute pleasant surprise!!! Two of the wall unit pieces had been damaged in freight. Dmitri found two more pieces of a discontinued set within a few days, had them inspected and insured they were OK, had them shipped asap. Constantly in touch by phone - delivered at the time they were supposed to. I am stunned at the level of service - awesome. Bottom line - I would buy again in a heartbeat - with confidence!!!

I had reservations about buying such a large item online without seeing it and touching it first but it turned out to be a great way to shop. The furniture is of good quality and is very comfortable without being to soft. I also think this particular piece is a really good value. The staff of this furniture store is beyond professional. Everyone I dealt with right down to the delivery people were extremely helpful and courteous. They did whatever they could to make this transaction go through without a single glitch. They even followed up with a call the day after the furniture was delivered. I will be purchasing more furniture from this store again without question.

My first contact with FurnitureStore NYC was an encounter with a friendly, knowledgeable and reassuring staff; his name was Eugene. And that was on the phone; nevertheless Eugene assured me he would work with me to get the furniture I needed in a timely fashion. Using their online store, he diligently provided valuable information and explanation which I used to get great furniture for my bedroom and living room. I needed some information that Eugene could not answer and he connected me with Dmitry. I got the same quality of service and assistance from Dmitry as I received with Eugene, I could not tell them apart.
Deliver was “super” fast and set-up went very smooth. The pieces were beautiful and had the look and feel I wanted. Great furniture!

The coat rack looks absolutely beautiful (as pictured) in my mud room. The 5 hooks hold planty of outwear and two bottom drawers will provide ample storage space.

High quality, great size and color
Recently purchased this bedroom set and couldn't be happier. Same price point (if not lower) than My Bob's and other discount furniture stores, but a much higher quality. It looks and feels top of the line.
Color is slightly darker than the photo would suggest (in a good way) - I'd call it expresso. Style is a good mix of classic and contemporary.
We are also extremely satisfied with the service from furniturestorenyc.com. This is our second purchase with the online retailer. Highly recommend.

I am extremely happy with this bed. It took me a very long time to find it, but I glad that I waited. To be honest, I don't think that the image shown on the website, does it justice, as the cherry wood is much richer in person.
I found the service at Furniture Store NYC, to be extremely professional. Once my order was made, they called to confirm and gave me an estimated delivery date. The bed was delivered (for free) within 5 business days and the window wasn't the usual between 9am and 3pm estimate that one is normally likely to get. Instead they gave me a one hour window in which they estimated delivery, so i wasn't waiting all day. Once delivered I got another call from the company asking me if I was happy with the service? How great is that? I will definitely look to this company for future purchases.

I wish I could give this 6 stars... This sectional gave my living room such a face lift. From the material to the color... I have had this for a month and every time I come home I am in such awe. The men who assembled it for me were so patient and careful.. unfortunately my doorway was a bit narrow but they made it fit. The recliners are heavenly and the sofa bed is great for guests. Remember that it is Suede so please buy a water/ stain spray to protect it.

I was so attracted to this Bedroom set... The headboard alone has gotten many compliments. It gives my bedroom a cozy feel and makes me not want to leave. I recommend getting a bunkie board for the bed for that added security. the dresser is also simple and elegant.. I love it. Received Emily bedroom set + the chest yesterday. The furniture is heavy and solid and appears to be well-made. Packed well. The drawers have side rollers on them for no-effort opening. The bed is platform type, so no box spring is necessary.
Furniture was ordered on Tuesday, delivered on Friday, so turnaround is very quick. Christal (sales) and Dmitry (sales supervisor) are professional and courteous, overall top-notch service.

Great furniture - quick delivery
I originally ordered a chest, dresser, mirror, and 2 nightstands of the Louis Philippe set. FurtniturestoreNYC.com was very nice enough to call and say that it was out of stock from the manufacturer, and on backorder, but they offered me the Bastille set because it was very similar in nature and it was in stock, ready to ship. I accepted. My original order was placed on a Thurs or Fri and they called me within a day or two about the backorder. I literally had my furniture delivered just over a week later. The 2 men who set it up were nice, quick, set everything up and even changed a couple of screws on the drawers after checking to make sure all of them opened/closed easily and smoothly. I couldn't have asked for better service. The drawers on these pieces (the chest and dresser) are a little smaller and more shallow than I was expecting, but clothes for me and my boyfriend fit in them, so I can't complain. It's substantial furniture and so far I love it.

I wanted to buy some nice furniture for my 8 year old daughter that would last and not break the bank at the same time. I was a little worried about ordering this furniture online without seeing it first. All I can say is I would 100% recommend this furniture and Furniture Store NYC. They kept me completedly informed and worked with me to get my furniture delivered when it was convenient for me. I thought delivery and set up was a fair price @ $129. The delivery men were in and out in probably an hour to an hour and a half and put everything together perfectly. I even recieved a call after they left to make sure I was happy. I've owned this now for a couple of weeks and it still is functioning as it should. I'll be using it during the winter months till I can get up to my bedroom so I hope to update this. Otherwise I'm very satisfied with this product. It has everything I was looking for in a sofa/bed. Three positions, storage and arms on the side. When it's in the bed position it is firm and comfortable for me and I've been getting some good nights sleep.
As far as the delivery went. I am extremely satisfied with the young man that delivered the sofa/bed and assembled it for me. I didn't have to lift a finger and if I had to assemble the sofa/bed, I'd probably still be at it today.

What a great Daybed. We bought two to use in our renovated cottage. We ordered on a Monday and they were delivered on a Thursday. The quality is excellent. The product is better than portrayed on the website.
The service after sale was great! We were called after delivery to follow-up and see if there were any problems. When we discovered some damage to one of the units the parts were replaced without question within five days.
Great products, even greater service. We'll be back when we need something else.

Real Wood at an Affordable Price
I brought the end table and sofa table and I was amazed to see that this was made of real wood! Assembly is very easy. The only downside is that there were some smudges that I can't seem to get out. I'm going to get some furniture polish and see how that works out.

This set is wonderful! Not only does the sofa convert to a bed but so does the love seat! The seating is nice and firm and easy to convert from seating position to sleeping position. This furniture does need to be assembled so you might want to purchase the assembly. I opened the love seat first and it did not include instructions. I put some of the screws on wrong before I figured out how to put everything together and had to go to the hardware store to have them take the nut off of the screws. Other than that I love the set

Highend service at a bargain price.
I bought a house around the city of Baltimore that was large. I had a choice to move my 20 years old furniture or to buy some thing new. I did my research and luckily I found this store on the web. I bought furniture for five bedrooms, two living rooms, a formal dining room as well a casual dining set. I did it in stages to see how good the furniture and the delievery was before ordering all of the furniture.
This store has a great service. They bring the furniture, unload it, carry it in the house, and set it up in your specified place. The movers were very professional and I did not have any walls scratched nor any piece broken.
My salesman whom I only knew by his name Dimitry, was very helpful and knowledgeable. I never felt pressured and he always let me know when the furniture will be delivered and followed up afterwards to see if every thing went smoothly.
This was a highend service at a bargain price.

Relatively easy to put together, and it did arrive free of damage. Once together however, and you have a mattress on it, it is not as sturdy as it looks! It is beautiful though...There is a long center support that only runs from one end of the slats to the other (front to back...but..it does not attach to the headboard or footboard. this makes for a "wiggly" support. If you move the bed a little from side to side and look underneath while doing so, you can see this support leaning one way or the other..it does not stay flush with the floor. I would not recommend this bed for anyone that had big animals that jump on and off (and people for that matter) to much "bouncing and weight shifting" will..I feel...eventually break that free floating center support. Im sure it is sturdier on carpet where the frame won't move, but on wood floors...it will move. I hope I am proven wrong on this and it holds up for years....we shall see

I would give the Emily bed AND Furniture NYC 10 stars based on my experience and the results of getting a truly outstanding looking bedroom set.
The Emily king size bedroom set. I am an avid internet shopper on all sorts of stuff mostly electronics and computers but this is my first foray in buying furniture sight unseen. Risky business as one can never really tell what the quality will be until it is in front of you. Well the Emily bedroom set EXCEEDED my expectations. A quality built bedroom set with an outstanding look and feel. Do not get put off by the paper veneer description. This is a solidly built bed with nightstands and dresser. The dresser alone was over 220 lbs with a fantastic looking cherry finish. No way can you tell it is a veneer.
FurnitureStoreNYC sales and support staff were above and beyond throughout the sales\delivery process. I was helped by a gentlemen who knew this bedroom set well and answered all my questions in detail. I had special delivery needs that he not only was willing to work with BUT actually delivered upon as requested and on time. After the sale I received a confirmation email and a call to advise me that the set was ready for delivery and that they would hold it as requested and deliver on the date I wanted.
I received a call the day before to confirm delivery time. A call from the driver ˝ hour before delivery and the 2 gentlemen who delivered and setup the entire set were great. Obviously they knew what they were doing and were well worth the ridiculously low price for the setup fee. By far the cheapest gold glove delivery fee I have ever seen and well worth it IMHO.
I cannot say enough positives about the experience from beginning to end.

i love my king Maria bed. However the 'Yellow Transporation' shippinng company's delivery service is horrible. Here are the reasons:
1. they failed to deliver on schedule
2. the way they handle the package during the delivery is careless and rough
3. boxes were open and had vandalism holes.

First, Just pay for assembly or setup. I was told I only need a screwdriver, I did so and I had hard time driving the screws in, a couple of them broke, very good strong material and a good love seat, but spending several hours to mount the legs, no way, some one from the store needs to come here and work on it. to put those legs you will need a drill or the holes should be set up at the manifacturer or the product should be delivered completely ass
